Lawr Michaels is a bay area based writer and analyst who has written about fantasy baseball since 1994 when he contributed to and edited John Benson’s Annuals and A-Z publications. Since then he has been on staff writing about fantasy and the minor leagues at CBS Sportsline, MLB.com, MSNBC, Sandbox Sports, TotalBaseball, Wall Street Sports, as well as CREATiVESPORTS.com, which he founded in 1996. His work has appeared across the internet and in numerous publications over that period. Michaels has also written about music, movies, and literature over the years, and his band, Strictly Olga is currently recording a first album, Downward Facing Dog, that is due to be released in the late spring of 2008. Lawr lives in the east bay hills with his dog Jazzmine, and a room full of guitars.
