The debut album equally appeals to enthusiasts of dark romantic tunes as well as to brute rock?n rollers and clubbers. In the daily headlines we read about abuse, violence, terrorism and suicide. But behind these headlines we find human beings. People with their own stories and their own feelings. Diary of a Lost is an album by the Swiss band The Beauty of Gemina that is dedicated to the stories and the feelings of these people. Desperation, hope, love, hate ? the thirteen own compositions in English expose a variety to the same extent as the range of feelings. The spectrum stretches from dark-wave borrowings, complex industrial sounds, technoid beats and brute rock attacks to romantic sleepy moments.
