The Moral Premises of Christianity, Part 1: We are joined by David Mills, author of The Atheist Universe, and Aaron Kinney for a discussion about the moral premises of Christianity. There is obviously a great deal to discuss here, and it looks like we only managed to discuss the concept of Original Sin, and what that makes humanity. And what that makes God. Is God some kind of ultimate programmer, deliberately inserting a bug in the system, by placing a virus in the hard drive called the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? What possible reason could God have had to do such a thing, besides boredom? As if something omnipotent would be stupid enough to be bored.
