Regarding Diggnation, you've subscribed to the WMV or Windows Media feed. Those will be ignored by itunes. If you look on that dignation page though you'll see in the right hand side bar that digg offers like 8 other feeds. Several of which are Quicktime. If you subscribe to one of those the episodes will aggregate into iTunes and play on your iPod.
