After placing 6th out of 33 at a BOA regional held in Houston, TX, Lafayette came out with a vengance at the Showcase of Bands. Held at Cajun Field, Lafayette, LA, home of Jake Delhomme (QB for the Carolina Panthers), the Mighty Lion Marching Band scored 95.1 to take GRAND CHAMPION.
