amazing story, amazing coverage of it. I'm becoming a big fan of AlJazeera. This is the way news was meant to be.

They keep talking about rebound energy, but I'd think the big advantage would be weight. The thigh muscles have to do much much less work to overcome the inertia because the blades are so much lighter, ultimately allowing much quicker accelleration of the limb in either diretion.

But while the science is interesting it's all a mute point to the overiding issue. I totally hope they let this dude compete wherever he wants to. It's an absolutely amazing thing what he can do. He's the fastest man alive. It heightens the competition, draws the crowd, makes the sport better, and besides who else is he going to compete with? You can't stick someone on the shelf because they don't fit the mold. It's time for another category in the record books I think.
