Description:
QT 1.9mb 22" how's the weather? I've lived in San Francisco for 17 years and I still can't get used to the weather. Summers are like a sandwich that's hot on the outside and cold on the inside - it gets warm in Spring after the rains, then it gets cold, windy and foggy, then warm again around September / October ("Indian Summer"). The 4th of July fireworks are usually fogged out, but actually looks cool because the fog gets illuminated with colors. I'm heading out to Ashland, Oregon this year to check out their 4th of July and visit friends. What's fascinating is that the Mission district is like a magic vortex where a sun beam usually manages to penetrate the fog. The East Bay and inland is warmer and doesn't get as much fog. I dunno, I grew up in Texas so 58 degrees with a wind chill in the Summer seems chilly to me...and don't even think about jumping into the ice water at the beach. Ok, that's my weather report.
