Singapore Management University (SMU) newly opened their city campus in the heart of downtown Singapore. Helen and Kenneth go check out the pedestrian malls in the lower labyrinths of the new imposing campus. And they're in search of the Kopi Tiam at the campus. "Kopi Tiam" is Singlish for "Coffee Shop". It's like a food canteen with many stalls selling various dishes. They chance upon "Killiney Kopitiam" in SMU, and they share another famous Kopitiam franchise in Singapore - "Ya Kun Kopitiam". Try their Kaya Toast, as well as their half-boiled eggs with pepper and black sauce. Absolutely delish!!! Our early chinese ancestors' favourite breakfast dish when they were busy building colonial Singapore back in the late 1800's and throughout the 1900's. They also share what’s life like during their university days in the National University of Singapore (NUS) - Inter-hall Games, Rag & Flag and stuff... Singapore is pretty small, so we only have 3 Local Universities in Singapore which are: National University of Singapore (NUS) - Clementi Campus Nanyang Technological University (NTU) - Jalan Bahar Campus Singapore Management University (SMU) - Bras Basah Campus My Odeo Channel (odeo/197f1557c23854a9)
