Using a selection of data collected from the Torpoint Ferry (Plymouth, UK) I have created an abstract reconstruction of the recorded information. Instead of traditional 3D flythrough movies, I have decided to use a 3D environment (Secondlife) for presenting the artwork. This is a 3D abstract data representation displayed in a virtual gallery with the experience of being inside the 3D model. Physical data has been transformed in to a three-dimensional architectural visualisation, effectively mapping the information as a virtual entity.
