YouTube videos get AdSensed - 3-way split of revenues

Some good news for people who embed videos today - Google/YouTube will be starting a program to deliver AdSense ads around YouTube embeds from select content creators. The BIG news: the revenue will be split three ways between the content creator, Google, and site publishers. More detail on TechCrunch and NewTeeVee.

It will be interesting to see how this monetization model pans out. If it is as effective as the current AdSense units, this could be a big win for everybody - except, of course, video sharing sites that compete with YouTube.
