Press release: New features make it easy to put 1000s of videobloggers on your video ipod or PSP
Mefeedia.com, the first video aggregator, will launch new features on Wednesday November 9th that make it very easy to fill your video iPod or PSP with independent video.
Mefeedia works seamlessly with Apple’s iTunes and Sony’s PSP Media Manager Software - you subscribe to your personal queue of videos, and whenever a videoblogger that you are subscribed to publishes a new video, it is automatically sent to your computer. You can also browse over 80,000 videos already in the archive and add them to your video queue with one click.
The service is 100% free, and will stay that way, with future optional pro features in the works.
Mefeedia focuses on the video that is being produced by “videobloggers”, thousands of people who are creating all sorts of short videos and publishing them on their blog. Mefeedia functions as an aggregator, a portal where you can discover these videoblogs.
Mefeedia’s mission is to make independent video on the web accessible. In this brave new world of millions of video channels powered by internet distribution. At Mefeedia, we’re working hard to build what is like an Internet Movie Database (imdb.com), but for independent video.
The future is here: the video iPod, iTunes video, the PSP, the upcoming XBox: people are getting access to millions of channels of video. And at the same time regular people can now finally publish video online easily. In this future, your favourite tv channel might soon be someone you know.
